🟩 This Email Will Make You Dangerous Again

What if you were just three choices away from being unrecognisable?
(In a good way. Probably.)

What if you could change who you are,
and just let your friends catch up later?

You don’t need a grand plan.
You need a short list.

Here’s how it works:

Go back through your life.
Scroll through the weird stuff.
Jobs, hobbies, half-finished side quests.
Moments that felt good because they made YOU feel alive.

Now look for this:

Stuff you enjoyed
Stuff you were weirdly good at
Stuff that sparked curiosity, even if it didn’t lead anywhere (yet)

(That thing that just popped into your head right now – Yeah, that one!)

Write it down.
All of it.
The whole mix-tape.
Your β€œthis could be something” pile.

Now… circle three.

The three that feel doable and actually exciting right now.

(If you’re sitting there thinking,
“But what if I’ve never really been excited about anything?”
Cool. That’s your mission.)

Try stuff.
Read weird books.
Take strange jobs.
Get out in the world and start gathering data.

The point is to find out what lights you up…
not to figure it out in advance!

Once you’ve got your three, try them on in your head.
Imagine the work.
The projects.
The problems you’d be solving.
The skills you’d be sharpening.
The people you’d be around.

Then ask:

Which one turns you on the most?

Pick that one.

Now go after it like your brain depends on it.
(Which it kinda does.)

Rewire your inputs.
Refocus your energy.
Start building the identity of the kind of person who does that thing.

Not forever.
Not permanently.
And not shave your head, change your name, move to another country type change…

Just for now.

In the area of your life you wanna change things.

And yeah, you can change your mind later.
You’re allowed.

Despite what your parents, your school, or that emotionally constipated career guidance guy from year 10 told you – nothing is permanent.

So don’t get stuck waiting for the confidence to start.
It’s not coming.

Confidence is built.
Mid-action.

And the only thing left to do…
is begin.

p.s. This technique is loosely based on a technique I learned many years ago but have never been able to find where from, but I remember the name: “The 10 Second Miracle”. One day I’ll find it and share it here. Until then, it lives in my brain. Perhaps I’ll share more soon if there’s some interest. Let me know!
